What's wrong with always dead pigs?

Many people ask me: Why do pigs always die? I usually take good precautions and get vaccinated on time. Every batch of pigs will die, and if we continue like this, we will have to switch careers. We can't afford to lose money. Indeed, in the process of raising pigs, there are more or less cases of pig death. Why? Below is a specific analysis for everyone.

1、 The fifth disease (commonly known as foot-and-mouth disease). Generally speaking, suckling piglets around 18 days old may die due to myocarditis, while death usually does not occur at other age stages. Even if death occurs, it is mostly due to febrile diseases such as swine fever, especially for pigs weighing over 50 kilograms. If death occurs, it is mostly caused by swine fever rather than the fifth disease. But in real life, the fifth disease often bears the blame.

The real reason for the deaths caused by what is commonly believed to be the fifth disease is that many pig farmers fail to prevent swine fever for the second or first time too early. The antibodies against swine fever are already in a stalemate with the virus, completely supported by its own immune system. At this time, if the fifth disease comes and the balance is disrupted, the swine fever will counterattack, and the pigs will be burned to death by fever. In fact, at this time, the fifth disease is also equivalent to a trigger, that is, a inducement.

2、 Circovirus. Circovirus is also an old disease, but for our pig farms in China, the time of circovirus is not long. Nevertheless, we should not take it lightly and think that the circovirus is not serious. In fact, there are also many cases of deaths caused by circovirus. The disease usually begins 2-3 days after weaning, and the acute mortality rate can reach 10%. So, it is best to inject the circovirus vaccine about two weeks after breastfeeding piglets, and then give up 2-3 weeks apart. However, it should be noted that it is important to choose a good circovirus vaccine, otherwise it will not work.

3、 Blue ear disease. It is also a highly contagious disease that mainly occurs in piglets and pregnant sows within one month. If everyone is prepared for the circovirus vaccine, blue ear disease will also be prevented from occurring in pigs obediently. But if the circovirus is not properly treated and causes damage to the pig's immune system, it may rebound, become more toxic, and cause some high fever again.

4、 Respiratory diseases. Especially in winter, various respiratory diseases in pigs can become particularly severe, such as colds, mycoplasma, and piglets, making it difficult for people to prevent them. People often spend a lot of medical expenses in this area. So, let me tell you, if you can prevent circovirus by hitting a snake seven inches, these respiratory diseases will rarely occur. Even if they do occur, their symptoms are very mild and generally do not require medication. After a period of time, they will naturally recover.

5、 Generally speaking, swine fever can cause a complete annihilation of the army, and besides that, there are few diseases that can cause the death of all pigs. So, if your pigs experience a large number of deaths, the first thing to consider is swine fever, followed by poisoning.

6、 When a pig gets sick, don't blindly seek medical attention and listen to so-called experts saying that the pig has some terrible or strange disease. We are all ordinary people, and pigs are also ordinary pigs. Even if we sometimes get sick, they are just a few common diseases that can be cured with proper and scientific treatment. If you blindly listen to others' words and seek treatment, I believe that besides spending extra money, it generally does not yield good treatment results and may even have a counterproductive effect.
